Mary Kate should have gone with a sheer panel.

In fashion, there's a fine line drawn between modest and immodest.  It can be hard to tell what is acceptable to wear without looking trashy.

After all, the runways don't exactly give us pedestrians much to look up to.  While the models sashaying the catwalk in barely-there clothing is just plain cool, no self-respecting individual would actually wear the majority of those looks off the runway.

Now you don't have to use binoculars to help you locate that line.  With the trend of sheer panels (which gives me a feeling of deja vu to the '80s), you can be both bold and demure at once.

Gar-de Gray Eona Dress, $378

When wearing something fully sheer, like Mary Kate, you leave little to the imagination.  The simple panel, which can vary in size, however, allows you to show off some skin without flashing everything.  After all, you always want to leave them wanting more.

Pencey Boudoir Tank, $248               EGR Sheer Black Dress, $498

You can put the less in shameless.

Now someone find me one for less than $200.
