For Ray Bradbury fans, every year brings something fresh and exciting because he is a living legend determined to live out his life bringing out the fun in literature. He is a living legend and a hero to many. This year fans get a different sort of treat as literary genius appears in Santa Monica to unveil his Giclee print of the formally untitled "Dark Carnival."
200 24"x18" signed copies are on sale (pre-orders available now) at Every Picture Tells a Story.
Bradbury will discuss the origins of the painting, which he created in 1948 and was used on his book, Dark Carnival, released the same year. The collection is a a dark fantasy and horror collection of fantastic Bradbury originals. The original had been out of print for 50 years until a printing in 2001 (Gauntlet Press) allowed readers to rediscover this wonderful book, and also features an afterword by horror film master Clive Barker.
Mr. Bradbury will not be signing at the event, so get there early if you would like to secure a low numbered print or copy of selected titles.
