It's all over the news: Dr. Jason Newsom, a Pensacola Health Department doctor, has been fired for dissin' the doughnuts. The 38-year-old former Army doctor who served in Iraq, has violated the primary rule: Talk a good game, but don't mess with the Man. In this case, the "Man" is corporate carbage.
"A county commissioner who owns a doughnut shop and two lawyers who own a new Dunkin' Donuts on Panama City Beach turned against him, along with some of his own employees, Newsom says." The businessmen were also supported by County Commissioner Mike Thomas, who is also the owner of a doughnut chain.  Methinks that we're starting to see a pattern here. Doughnuts may be death to more than just your health. They may destroy your career.
