TMZ’s Harvey Levin cries foul !

Harvey Levin Lawyer and Producer of the popular TMZshow made his case against the recent Speidi versus Roker feud with his staff, and viewers last night. The whole speech was very entertaining, and really made me wonder. In case you missed it here is what he had to say.

Levin: “ I think this whole thing was setup.”
To which his staff replied in unison “NO”

Levin: “There was a rep from "I’m a Celebrity get me out of here" on that set, I smell a weather front.”( at least it sounded like he said that)

He went on emphatically gesturing now and again with his hands, obviously getting very excited about his theory.

Levin : “ I’m just telling you the NBC publicist from "I’m a Celebrity get me out of here" which is an NBC show, following Heidi and Spencer around, and Heidi and Spencer were supposedly at war with the show... but why do they have publicist going on “ The Today Show with Heidi and Spencer? “

“And suddenly Al Roker, who’s into (He demonstrates a weather man on his clear chalk board with a green marker) “This is the cold front here, and it’s going this way.... here’s what’s happening in your world even as we speak.”
“ And then all the suddenly POW! “
“You’re representing what’s wrong about America!”

To which his staff all burst into laughter.
He ended the rant with a classic “ I rest my case”.

Makes me wonder..what if he is right? Maybe Bill Gedde, Executive Producer “The View” was correct when he labeled the duo of Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt otherwise known as “Speidi " as “The single greatest market experts in the country”.

Only time will tell if they can continue to parlay their “reality fame”, into fame that really lasts.

Wikipedia Bio for Harvey Levin:

Levin received an undergraduate degree from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and his J.D. from the University of Chicago. He passed the bar exam in 1975, and taught at Whittier College School of Law (formerly known as Beverly Rubens School of Law), in Los Angeles, now located in Orange County, between approximately 1977 and 1996.

He later worked in various legal roles in the entertainment industry. For years, he was a legal reporter on KCBS-TV, in Los Angeles, where he reported on the O.J. Simpson murder trial. In 1994, Levin almost caused murder charges against Simpson to be tossed out[citation needed], when he presented a video on KCBS-TV that allegedly showed Prosecutor Marcia Clark searching Simpson’s home before a search warrant was issued. Within days, however, Levin was forced[citation needed] to retract the story and apologize on the air.

In 1996, Levin moved to New York to work as a legal analyst for The People's Court (he appeared on the show during the 1980s as a legal consultant during Doug Llewelyn's years) and deactivated his California bar license. Six years later, in 2002, Levin served as creator and executive producer for Celebrity Justice, until it was cancelled after three years.

Today, Levin is a managing editor at TMZ.com, a celebrity news and gossip site launched by Time Warner-AOL, in December 2005. He also executive produces and hosts, TMZ on TV. He is a frequent guest of The Kevin and Bean Morning show, in addition to CNN's Larry King Live.
