Besides being one of the countries biggest country cross over stars Taylor Swift is now revealing her acting talent as well. On last nights Saturday night live she appeared in more costume changes than one of her concerts. She started off with a bang in her satirical "monologue song". Then donned a horrible Kate Gosselin wig for a spoof on “ The View”.

One of the best bits was a spin on her current love interest Taylor Lautner’s film series "Twlight" . The spoof was a movie trailer filmed completely in the style of “Twilight”. Swift appeared as in a long brown fall ala “Twilight ingenue Bella” with Bill Hader as her love interest “Frankenstein”. Typical of a “Twilight” , “Firelight” as it was titled was a story of opposites attracting and the trouble that ensues.

Instead of the Twilight vampire story line this fictional town was experiencing accidental stranglings. Even though it was a spoof Swift show she has the acting chops to pull off a serious role. The highly technical spoof even managed to make realistic scenes with her being carried up the sides of trees by Frankenstein.

An uncomfortable skit of Swift being interviewed by a popular Entertainment Tonight style show, and later re-edited to look foolish may have left  viewers wondering if it was inspired by an actual event. Her comedic skills really shone through in a skit of teens against parents who drive badly. During the routine I saw glimmers of the very funny comic actress Ana Faris who has also hosted SNL.

Swift performed as the evenings musical guest in a champagne colored shimmering mini, singing her award winning song “You belong with me”. Swift also appeared in a "brag off" skit with SNL's Kristen Wig’s strange annoying know it all character.

The singer even explored her masculine side as she dressed asa man complete with fake beard in prison sketch “scared straight” intervention program with Kenan Thompson. This skit proved to be even too funny for the fellow cast members who did their best to hold back full out laughter during the sketch. She also captured Latin singer Shakira’s vocals flawlessly in a parody of a variety Pop music CD promotion. All in all it was a great showcase of Swifts multiple talents.
