Although the 2009 CMA’ awards won’t be be airing until this Wednesday on ABC they were already given out, and taped and announced. In my opinion this takes the excitement out of watching them this week, but don’t blame me I am just the messenger.
Taylor Swift who has been on a roll took home yet another video award ,winning again for her music video for the hit song “Love Story”. Swift thanked all her fans with this statement:
Swift : “Thank you to the fans that come out to my shows and spend such hard work making these amazing scrapbooks and writing me letters. Reading your letters and reading your MySpace comments, anytime I have a bad day, you make those days.”
Other award winners included Brad Paisley for his hit “Waitin on a woman”. Said Brad Paisley who won for "Collaborative Video" with Keith Urban “Thank you so much, the fans, for taking a song all about playing the guitar and making it something that radio made a No. 1 hit.”
