Can't have a dog - free cat adoption at four Rochester locations

You would love to adopt a shelter dog but can't because dogs are not allowed where you live, you work long hours or maybe you are physically unable to provide the walks and potty breaks a dog needs. Well perhaps you could open your heart and home to one of the many cats that are in desperate need of adoption instead. Already have a dog? Many dogs and cats can live together with no problems and even enjoy each others company.
This weekend Lollypop Farm is having a “Warm Your Hearts and Homes with a Kitty” Adopt-a-thon. Adoption fees have been reduced! Cats under one year can be adopted for $60 and those over a year old can be adopted FREE.
We all know there is no such thing as a free lunch, right? While you can often get a free cat(or dog) from someone that does not spay their own animal or breeds irresponsibly you will end up making three or more visits to a vet for shots and a spay or neuter surgery and end up spending hundreds of dollars. The regular adoption fee for a cat(or dog) from Lollypop is a bargain in comparison.
The adoption fee for a cat or kitten from Lollypop Farm includes:
- vaccinations
- feline leukemia testing
- parasite and flea treatment
- spaying or neutering
- microchipping
- free health exam certificate
- pet health insurance (30 days)
To see available cats and kittens November 7th and 8th visit one of the following Rochester adoption locations during regular hours:

- PetSmart, 790 Jefferson Road in Henrietta
- The Mall at Greece Ridge, 271 Greece Ridge Center Drive in Greece
- Pet Saver Superstore, 1596 Ridge Road West in Greece
