Unemployment: No news is good news

The Ohio Department of Job and Family Services announced yesterday that unemployment for the state of Ohio held steady last month at 7.3 percent. Gains in construction, service, education and health services, and leisure and hospitality offset the losses in manufacturing.
Unemployment statistics by county are scheduled for release December 23.
