My smiley head is full of pennies.

CNN.com has posted a very cheery article from CareerBuilder.com, listing tips for the unwilling unemployed.

Tips include everything from the practical -- "apply for unemployment" -- to the puzzling:

Create a new paradigm.

Hmm, yes. I will begin work on this new paradigm tomorrow.

The article is worth a read, for the snark factor as well as the legitimate suggestions listed. However, I couldn't help but notice that most of the people giving advice (the person suggesting you create a new paradigm, for example) were authors of books with extremely chipper titles.

  • Excuse Me, Your Job is Waiting
  • Instant Appeal: The 8 Primal Factors That Create Blockbuster Success
  • Don't Get Caught with Your Skirt Down: A Practical Girl's Recession Guide

And my  favorite:

  • No Job? No Prob!

We have found joblessness to be a bit of a "prob," actually; but in all fairness, we didn't read this book and it might have made a difference.

Check out the article, take the advice, brainstorm your new paradigm, and then humor me: What would you title your best-selling book about job-hunting?
