Box art for Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days (DS).

Because it can be difficult to keep track of the plethora of games that are released every day, I am publishing a weekly column where I lay out the coming week's notable (and not so notable) game releases for you, so you know exactly what's coming out and when.

---

There are a whole lot of games coming out this week -- on Tuesday, specifically -- but a quick look at this list will tell you that only a few are probably worth your time, unless you're the kind of person that gets excited about three games called "Smart Boys," "Smart Girls," and "Smart Kids" coming out in the same week.  In any case, there are a few big name games coming out this week, depending on your tastes.  RPG fans get what is arguably the week's biggest release in Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days, but there's also the PSP port of Persona for those who like their RPGs with a little less Square Enix in them.  PS3 owners get a few nice releases this week in Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 and the long-awaited arrival of two more Fallout 3 expansion packs, The Pitt and Operation: Anchorage.  Racing fans get not only Midnight Club: Los Angeles but also the the dreadfully delayed PSP version of Gran Turismo.  Finally, the Wii gets a rare hardcore, mature action title in Dead Space: Extraction, proving that, yes, high-profile M-rated games do still come to the Wii once in awhile.  As for me, I'll be immersing myself in Roxas' 358 days with Organization XIII in 358/2 Days!

All release dates are subject to last-minute changes, and are gathered by way of GameFAQs, a site that I have long found to be a reliable source for release dates (among other things).

Also keep in mind that all listed release dates are for a game's ship date; games are not usually available on store shelves until the following day (although there are rare exceptions where the game is available on the same day).
