Because it can be difficult to keep track of the plethora of games that are released every day, I am publishing a weekly column where I lay out the coming week's notable (and not so notable) game releases for you, so you know exactly what's coming out and when.
---
This week's pretty light unless you're a hardcore fan of some specific series or have a soft spot for games based on big summer movie licenses. Like Transformers 2 last week, this week brings us the slightly-early-to-the-party sixth chapter in the Harry Potter series on every platform out there, as well as Ice Age 3 on every platform out there minus the PSP. There's also Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood for those 360 and PS3 owners out there eagerly anticipating Ubisoft's latest shot at an original IP.
Otherwise, the week belongs to you 2D fighting (and more specifically, Guilty Gear) fans who will be all over BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger... and to us Blue Bomber fans, as this week sees Mega Man Star Force 3 finally hitting stores as well, in both the Black Ace and Red Joker varieties. I say "finally" because I'm a shamelessly hardcore Mega Man fan who awaits all new series titles with similarly feverish anticipation.
