Because it can be difficult to keep track of the plethora of games that are released every day, I am publishing a weekly column where I lay out the coming week's notable (and not so notable) game releases for you, so you know exactly what's coming out and when.
---
After a several-weeks-long deluge of must-play titles comes a surprisingly quiet week with little of note besides PS3's, er, Africa-sim Afrika, the PS3 versions of the last two Fallout 3 expansion packs, and the usual annual assortment of mainstream basketball titles for all you sports fans out there. Because I'm not a sports fan, and because I couldn't find a good image of the Afrika box art (my first choice for the week), I decided to go with the natural next best choice: Jillian Michaels' Fitness Ultimatum 2010. Obviously. Hopefully next week proves to be more interesting!

All release dates are subject to last-minute changes, and are gathered by way of GameFAQs, a site that I have long found to be a reliable source for release dates (among other things).
Also keep in mind that all listed release dates are for a game's ship date; games are not usually available on store shelves until the following day (although there are rare exceptions where the game is available on the same day).
