ST. PETERSBURG – The Tampa Bay Rays have a challenging homestand coming up when they host the New York Yankees (July 27-29), Kansas City Royals (July 31-August 3) and Boston Red Sox (August 4-5) as they hope to leave the perfect game thrown at them by Mark Buehrle of the White Sox Thursday night in Chicago.

Baseball isn’t the only thing on the menu during the nine-games at Tropicana Field as Flo Rida will be performing live on Friday the 31st followed by DAUGHTRY the next evening, August 1 as part of the Rays’ Summer Concert Series, presented by Hess Express. Both concerts will follow games against the Royals with Friday’s contest beginning at 7:38 pm and Saturday will be at 4:10 pm as part of the FOX Network’s regional coverage.

On the giveaway docket, there are five tee-shirts dates where the first 10,000 fans dressed in Rays gear will receive the following:

Mon., July 27 vs. NYY - Carl Crawford
Tue., July 28 vs. NYY - Jason Bartlett
Wed., July 29 vs. NYY - Ben Zobrist
Tue., August 4 vs. Boston - Carlos Pena
Wed., August 5 vs. Boston - Evan Longoria

Crawford’s All-Star MVP tee featuring the photo of Carl’s home-run-robbing catch that helped lead to the American League’s 4-3 victory in the 80th All-Star Game at St. Louis’ Busch Stadium.

In addition, on Tuesday, August 4 there will be a 2009 All-Star poster giveaway featuring AL All-Star Manager Joe Maddon and all five Rays. The first 30,000 fans will receive this commemorative poster, presented by the St. Petersburg Times, prior to the Rays-Red Sox game at 7:08 p.m.
