#IranElection - *not* a Twitter trending topic for the first time in three weeks

For the first time in three weeks, #IranElection is not a trending topic on Twitter. #IranElection has dominated trending topics since the Iran elections, and may be the most tweeted topic ever on Twitter. Over two million tweets have been sent with this hashtag.
I wish the Iranian people success in their efforts to becoming a free people and congratulate them on their efforts. Despite insurmountable odds, they have shown their spirit and desire to be heard. They are an inspiration to the world. And they have shown us how to get their message out in a new way - using social media.
May we all remember the sacrifices they have made and the losses they have had, and keep them in our thoughts and prayers.
