Today's Google logo is the seventh in the series of Sesame Street logos - the whole gang!  The other six were Big Bird, Cookie Monster, Ernie & Bert, Grover, Elmo and Count Von Count, displayed in the last six days.

A fitting completion to the series of logos is not just one more character - but all of them!  Like the finale at a fireworks show, this is a great end to the series of Google logos highlighting Muppet characters.  Most of us have fond memories of Sesame Street, either as children, parents, or both!  Thank you, Google, for reminding us of a great group of Muppets, that brighten our lives with their goofy antics, and simultaneously teach our children important concepts.

If the rumors are true, this is the last Sesame Street inspired Google logo.  November 10th is Sesame Street's 40th birthday.  More articles about Sesame Street's 40th.
