First, it was Big Bird, then Cookie Monster.  Today is number 3 in this series of Google Logo Sesame Street characters. Some people believe that Google logos will be Sesame Street characters until November 10th - the actual anniversary of Sesame Street's debut program, November 10th 1969.  If so, which character(s) will be next? 

Ernie and Bert are allegedly named after Ernie the cab driver and Bert the cop in the film "It's a Wonderful Life." More news results about Sesame Street
