So how much is your favorite team worth to you?

Wayne Burdick was in Miami on November 2 getting ready to head out on a Caribbean cruise. He wanted to catch the Bears game before they left port. With the time to kill and the help of his Slingbox, AT&T wireless card and laptop, Burdick was able to watch Chicago beat Detroit 27-23.

About two weeks after returning home from the cruise, Burdick received a cell phone/wireless card bill for an insane $28,067.31 -- a little bit more than his usual $220 bill.

When he called AT&T to complain, he was told that the bill was correct and that he was charged international rates for using the Internet to catch the game.

For more on the story and to find out how much Burdick is responsible for, check out Team Fixer's column in the Chicago Sun-Times.

What's the most you've ever paid to watch your favorite team?
