To celebrate summer, all bottles of wine at the Lark Creek family of restaurants are half off during brunch, lunch and dinner throughout the month of July.  This marks the seventh consecutive year that the Lark Creek Restaurant Group has run this slurpalicious promotion.  The award-winning wine collection consists of more than 1000 labels so start sampling soon if you plan to make a dent.  Lark Creek Restaurant Group.

Those of you who know me aren't surprised when I say I could eat sushi everyday.  Sushi should be its own food group.  Ozumo in Oakland has my name written all over it.  On Mondays, sidle up to the sushi bar and indulge in all-you-can-eat sushi for just $30/person.  Choose from a selection of nigiri, rolls and sashimi the entire night, from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.  Ozumo.  2251 Broadway, Oakland.  510.286.9866.

Soufflés - reason enough to just stop by Oola for dessert

The guys who made life a little brighter by bringing you flavors like Chunky Monkey and Cherry Garcia are making it even better by giving away free sundaes on Mondays.  Buy one, get one free - that's some good summer love.  Go to their web site for details.  Ben & Jerry's.

Another equally self-indulgent but slightly more sophisticated way to get your sweet fix on Mondays is by heading to Oola where pastry chef Alicia Montalvo - she previously worked her magic at Aqua - is whipping up divine soufflés each week.  What's unique about these soufflés is that they are served free standing, with the ramekin they were prepared in removed before arriving at guests' tables.  To do this and avoid collapse is a difficult technique that chef Ola Fendert learned while at Remillards, formerly in Larkspur, and has taught to Montalvo.

Montalvo started off last week with a Valrhona chocolate version with warm ice cream sauce.  Chocolate will be available for the next two Mondays, with an alternate sauce of white chocolate crème anglais with a Bing cherry and vanilla compote.  Other flavors you will see include lavender and passion fruit with special toppings.  Oola Restaurant & Bar.  860 Folsom Street.  415.995.2061.

There's plenty of fresh chewy bread to go with that crab at Bistro Boudin

How does a plateful of fresh, steamed Dungeness crab served with drawn lemon butter sound?  Add a caesar salad with crispy house made croutons, linguine with slow roasted tomato Arrabiatta, and Sourdough garlic and cheese bread and you've got yourself a veritable feast.  Bistro Boudin in Fisherman's Wharf is now serving up this succulent crab feast every Tuesday through Thursday for $25 per person.  $49.50 feeds two and $89.95 feeds four.  Bistro Boudin.  160 Jefferson Street, upper level, Fisherman's Wharf.  415.351.5561.

I'm starting to salivate.  Gotta grab some grub...have a fantastic week!
