This week General Hospital (GH) unleashed a new character in Port Charles named Franco, played by actor James Franco (Spiderman, Milk) in a twisted mind game of art imitating life. He steps into GH as a presumed homeless man and transforms himself into a recluse artist with an allure for mob violence—and one Jason Morgan (played by Steve Burton). If you understand the Enneagram type Five the Theorist, you can understand his mind of what seems to be a clear trail of a sociopath personality, or he is really?
The unhealthy stance of the Five type has very clear traits or patterns they follow. They love understanding the world around them. They are fascinated by behaviors, knowledge, and ideas and deep addictive behaviors into whatever captivates them—such as music, art, movie and on the dark side—sex, even death. But in the world of the unhealthy mind that attraction can become deadly, and all to well, the person who is known as the loner, the actions can become a deprive, and addictive personality that feeds on the pleasures of others.
This is a very interesting character that Franco is playing, and can now see why this movie actor has come into the life of daytime television! We will continue to report of how his motivations and addictions shape the lives of GH. Stay-tuned, we will dive into why Franco and perhaps Maxie (played by Kirsten Storms) might move into a deprive world of intrigue!
