One of the great things about bicycling is that you go fast enough to get places, while also slow enough to soak up life all around you.

I'm always up for a good sign -- one that's creative or funny or just plain so utterly simplistic that it tweaks the nose of those fancy chain sign stores you see in shopping centers.

And those church signs outside houses of workship -- those play on words are a real ribtickler sometimes.

So I thought I'd put together a small montage of some of the signs I've seen while pedaling around Florida in places such as Tampa and around Lake Okeechobee and even Melbourne.

Keep a digital camera in your pocket. You never know what you'll bump into when you're biking around.
