Guys don’t mind being festive but they draw the line at being girly. So what if you’re more of a beer and bourbon kind of guy and you find yourself surrounded by fruity rainbow colored cocktails? The Old Forester Summer Julep will enable you to join in on the revelry without sacrificing your masculinity...or taste buds.

Old Forester Summer Julep

1 ½ oz Old Forester bourbon (or any bourbon of choice)
2 oz lemonade
1 oz pomegranate juice

Pour all contents into a collins/highball filled with ice. Pour contents into a shaker tin, cap and shake. Return contents to glass and garnish with a lemon twist.

And for you gin drinkers....

Orange Blossom

1 ½ oz gin
2 oz orange soda
Pour into a highball/collins glass filled with ice.

Called either The Red or the Scarlet O’Hara

1 ½ oz gin
2 oz cranberry juice
Splash of lime juice
Pour into a highball/collins glass filled with ice and garnish with a lime wedge.
