As the final day of Rum Month fades off for another 335 days I leave you with two rum recipes to hold you over until next year.

As created by R Bar bartender Dan Lawler....

RUMPLESTILTSKIN
(aka- The Harvest Moon)

 2 parts Cruzan Rum
1 part Malibu Coconut
1 part Meyers Dark
4 parts Mango Nectar
3 full pinches Ground Cinnamon
Shake and serve in a highball over ice
Garnish with pineapple and or cherry

PYRAT PEACH TEA

2 parts Pyrat Rum
1 part Peach Schnopps
1 part Weed Sweet Tea Vodka
1 part Sour Mix
Shake and serve in a highball over ice
Top off with 2 parts club soda
Garnish with Lemon

Should you not happen to have mango nectar handy or a bottle of Weed’s Sweet Tea vodka in the fridge there’s one place that will:

R Bar
3331 west 8th st.

They open at 7 pm and the current password is  “Hello McFly,” but call ahead of time as it is subject to change. For more info on R Bar click here.

Be sure to stock up on limes and rock salt and if you haven’t already dust off that blender because…August is Tequila Month!
