Accused wife killer Drew Peterson continues his wannabe comedian routines, even from the Will County Jail. His latest hah hah: calling the Mancow radio show to dish about his murder rap, life in jail, and how much he's a victim.

Peterson, accused of the murder of third wife Kathleen Savio and suspected in the disappearance of fourth wife Stacy Peterson rolled out his developing comedy routine to supporter Mancow.
Since he didn't get to do the "win a date with Drew" contest on Mancow, Peterson came up with an alternative: "win a conjugal visit with Drew". He also giggled about life in jail, saying that people "wanted to wash my back" and that he now understood "why there's a seat belt on the toilet after eating my first couple of jail meals."
Sadly, Mancow and crew shilled shamelessly for Drew. They launched into an explanation of how Peterson's humor is misunderstood, and how all cops joke around like that.
No, they don't. I have many police friends and I've ridden patrol with police officers. I get their humor, and let's be clear--this isn't normal "cop humor." Not even close.
Mancow carefully brings up a chance for Peterson to claim religion (the standard new claim for jail birds) and how hard everything is on Peterson. Peterson-as-victim is, however, isn't a stance that's going to be widely popular, once the cheap laughs are over.
Peterson, who's being held on $20 million bond, took a slap at his situation and poor him--being held for a murder that, he declared, "never happened." Savio was found battered and dead, allegedly drowned, in a dry bathtub during divorce proceedings that were going to cost Peterson big bucks.
The recent discovery of the remains of a body in the Des Plaines River has sparked speculation that it might be Stacy. It was found near a blue barrel. Peterson reportedly got a relative to help carry a blue barrel out of the house the night StacyThe work to identify the body continues.
Want to know more? I've been writing about Peterson, the ex-cop who's got decades of alleged abusive behavior with women as well as the murder charge, as part of his bragging bag.
