A couple of days ago I discussed the difference between looking at year-to-year versus month-to-month reports on home prices. The numbers look a lot different when you review them, for example, from June 2007 to June 2008, versus May 2008 to June 2008.
Just to clarify, the new IAS360 Home Price Index report looks at the numbers both ways, year-to-year and month-to-month, so observers can take into consideration the seasonal affects on their local market.
