In the midst of doom and gloom housing and economic news, it can be kind of fun to take a break from all that and have a little daydream about how lovely it would be to live in Miami's ultra-luxurious, ultra-modern, sleek new Marquis, a 67-story condominium and boutique hotel. Built by the Arquitectonica architectural firm, the Marquis will be the 2nd tallest building in Miami. An Asian-inspired landscaped water garden surrounds the pool, along with lounging islands and a bar.

The homes have from 1,500 to over 7,000 square feet, and the penthouse offers a panoramic view of greater Miami and nearby beaches. Hotel guests and residents can enjoy an 8,000 square foot RockResorts spa and fitness center with views of Biscayne Bay with state-of-the-art equipment and spa treatments such as massages and facials, saunas, steam rooms, whirlpools. To take advantage of the site, the development includes a "sunrise swim spa" overlooking Biscayne Bay or a "sunset lagoon-style pool" for evenings. As residents lounge by the pool, cool face towels will be provided along with frozen fruit at regular intervals. Smoothies, juice, cocktails and light fare are also part of the poolside service.

Now, to bring you down from the clouds, the price for all this luxury: From $1 millon to OVER $15 million.

Call the sales center at 305/571-4000 for more information.
