Warriors fans, as you have noticed, I haven't had time to do much lately and for that I apologize. I am now doing a college football column twice a week for the San Francisco Chronicle, plus covering Cal basketball. So I will have to let the Examiner take over the internet without me.

The good news is that I leave you in the hands of Mike Massa, longtime Bay Area journalist and Warriors follower, as he will chronicle Don Nelson's fast break into history. Here's his link:

I really do believe Warriors fans are the best (and most durable) in sports and will be watching the Stephen Jackson and Monta Ellis circus with crossed fingers for all of you. Take care.

Mike, let 'er rip.
