Warriors coach Don Nelson decided not to drop a plugged-in toaster into a bath tub Monday when he told ESPN that he has no plans to strip Stephen Jackson of his captaincy after the swingman said recently that he wants to be traded to Cleveland, New York, Dallas, Houston or San Antonio.
"Jack is still my cap," Nelson said.
The Warriors handle Jackson with kid gloves, even after he pretty much stabbed them in the back asking for a trade less than a year after getting a three-year contract extension worth $28 million.
"I've talked to him," Nelson said. "I don't anticipate any problems."
