Making simple bracelets is one of the easiest ways to get into jewelry making.  All you will need for this project is elastic cord and the beads.  Some people like to create bracelets with clasps, but for the most part I enjoy using just elastic cord.  The type of elastic cord that I prefer to use for my bracelets is Stretch Magic, which can be found at at Michael's and Jo-Ann Fabric and Crafting Store.  This article will give tips and suggestions on the many types of simple bracelets you can make.  Basically the sky is the limit when it comes to creating an original and fun bracelet to wear.  Homemade bracelets can be affordable gifts for family and friends.
