Sunset card created by Julia Hanna.

Do you enjoy looking at sunsets?  Sunset cards are enjoyable because these are stunning pieces of art that celebrate nature.  A painting of a sunset  would be an extraordinary treasure for any home, but a simple card can be a less expensive way to appreciate this marvel of nature.   At the store there are many beautiful sunset cards available to purchase, but have you ever considered making one of your own?  Sunsets are easy to draw and most anyone can create a themed card of their own.  The supplies needed for this project are:

  • card stock
  • a drawing pencil
  • colored pencils
  • a paper cutter

Take a look at the slide show below to see how this fun card was designed. Cards such as these can even be framed and and turned into art for the wall.
