Paper ghost decorations
Paper ghosts created by Julia Hanna.

So do you love Halloween?  Halloween is a really fun holiday when it comes to decorating, but in this economy do people really have money to waste on overpriced decorations?  Why not make some handmade decorations such as paper jack-o-lantern cut-outs, and paper Halloween ghosts?  Paper ghosts are very easy to make, and these can be created with supplies that are in most homes.  The materials needed for this project are:

  • bathroom tissue or packing paper
  • string or a ribbon
  • a black permanent marker

Take a look at the slide show and You Tube video below to see how these ghostly ghouls were created.  These ghosts would be fun to put in a window or on a wall. Primarily this would be a simple craft for kids because they would need very little supervision when making these decorations.
