Millions of Americans will be traveling this holiday season. It's likely you are one of the families getting ready to hit the road or maybe brave the airport fees and long lines to go home for the holidays.

Here's a look at some fun kid CDs to entertain the kids on your trip:

  • Billy Brown Goes Hiking - This audio book features Billy Brow the bear and friend Emma going on a hike. You can check out Bill Brown by downloading a free Billy Brown story HERE or you can buy the full CD at giddio.com.
  • Magic of Think - Music performed like a concert with songs about the power of positive thinking. Music varies from country to pop. You can buy the CD at magicalvoice.com or individual songs at Amazon.
  • Tell Me A Story: Timeless Folktales From Around The World - Audio book of imaginative stories that take place around the world from Scotland to Africa. Winner of the 2008 National Association of Parenting Publications Gold Medal too. You can find out more this and other audio books by columnist Amy Firedman at mythsandtales.com. You can buy/download it at amazon.com.
  • Rocketship Run - This CD features fun, silly songs and a title track song that kids may know from Nick's Noggin pre-school TV channel. You can check out some of the songs at The Laurie Berkner Band's MySpace page. Buy the hardcopy or download songs at Amazon.com.
