Tomorrow is the first day of fall. That means orange leaves, pumpkins, cooler weather, and more time in the park or playground at school and on the weekends. But what's a girl to do to stay warm enough without overheating?

Here's the perfect solution: a tee, jumper dress and light legging pants.

One we love: Hatley's new fall pink bear ensemble... pairing their Pink Bears Corduroy Dress with the pink bear pants from a PJ set. You can get double use out of the pieces of this outfit that way too, maximizing you money! We used a pink tee we already had instead of the PJ top, though when it gets chillier you can get extra mileage out of the outfit by using that shirt instead. (BTW-Hatley has a whole line of pink bears stuff so moms and older sisters can coordinate too!)

My 3.5 year old picked this fall-icious outfit and it was a great call! The jumper dress is made from soft corduroy with a pink bear embroidered on the front. The pants are cotton in a medium thickness so you can run around all you want to and not get too hot or bang up your knees. The outfit is among the most practical in her closet. It's cute and girly, well made with sturdy, durable materials - and it can survive her playground rough housing at recess and still be classroom appropriate at super cute.
