She's gone through nine months of pregnancy with all of its growing pains plus labor and delivery. There's really no better time to tell your wife/girlfriend/partner how much you appreciate all she's gone through to bring your little one into this world then now.

A good way to say it in a way she'll remember (once the blur of labor and delivery is only a memory) and appreciate forever is with a personalized gift that marks this momentous occassion. There's something about becoming a mom that makes you really like things with your kids names on it. Here are a few ideas...

Lisa Leonard Designs makes a perfect birth gift with her family tree necklace (see photo above right). Lisa hand-stamps and designs each custom piece with the wearer in mind. This is the perfect necklace for when your family is complete. You can put each child's name on the necklace or a message or both - depending on the length and number of names you want on there. I love wearing this one because it looks like a little piece of art in addition to my children loving seeing their name around my neck.

For something a little different that mom can use every single day consider the Key to My Heart key chain. I have one of these and it is really pretty, even better in person then online. What I love about this is that you see it everyday. You glance down at your keys and can be reminded how much you're loved. And for moms like me that don't wear jewelry everyday, we still use our keys! The key chain includes a nickel heart key ring, a sterling silver and clear swarovski crystal beaded dangle, a swarovski round birthstone crystal and sterling silver charm. You can get dangles with each child's name or just one that says We love you, or whatever you want. They make necklaces and bracelets too that you can coordinate if you want to go all out.

Sentimental Silver designs hand made and hand stamped necklaces using pure recycled silver. They've got several different designs and you can even make your own necklace combo to suit your family. They also sell photo pendants that you can put along with the name tag ones. You can have birth dates and gemstones included if you want.

Circle of Sentiments necklaces are also a good choice for growing families or first time mommys. Each circle is printed with a child’s name and you can get them in all one color or multiple colors. I like to wear the charms on a stretchy cord necklace so my girls can pull on it all they want.

Sima Gilady Jewelry makes beautiful jewelry that is handmade by a mom artisan. The Family necklace, in particular, is perfect for moms as it is custom made with names of your family. The necklace is one of a kind and comes in a pretty heart shaped box with dried rose petals for an extra special touch. I have one with a pearl added and I really enjoy wearing it.
