The baby name of the day is... Bexar.
Bexar -pronounced BEAR- is the name of a county in Texas. The city of San Antonio is in that county. It's a beautiful place. The name comes from San Antonio de Bexar, which was named after the Duke of Bejar. Bejar is a place name in Spain that means "bee."
This name was suggested by Amy - a reader who says she enjoys this section of my column. She says of the name Bexar "We almost used it for our second daughters middle name...love it."
This name could go for a girl or a boy.
