Sonic Drive In gives away free root beers today!

Freebie alert: Today (Wednesday, June 3) all Sonic Drive In restaurants are giving away free root beer floats.
The giveaway has no strings attached - no purchase is necessary. But it doesn't start until 8pm. It runs through midnight. That's not so great for the kiddos, but is a great mom or dad treat for after the kids are in bed asleep.
Sonic estimates it will be giving away 3.5 million floats tomorrow night. Every Sonic across the cou ntry is participating in the event. You can find the Sonic closest to you HERE.
“We truly appreciate our customers, and are excited to once again celebrate them with free root beer floats,” said Paul Macaluso, vice president of marketing for Sonic. “We invite everyone to visit their local drive-in to enjoy a free sweet and nostalgic way to kick off the summer.”
If you can't make it to the event, Sonic is also offering free Route 44 drink upgrades with the purchase of any combo meals starting this Thursday (June 4).
