On the casual front... check out these great sandals, flip flops and slippers for the hard working Dad in your life who needs some comfort brought to his feet. Check out part one of this article for work and more casual shoe shoes for dad. All shoes have been tested out by either my husband (or myself if the shoe doesn't come in a large enough size for his giant feet).

Terrasoles make it in this category too! The Rio is "a stylish, cool looking shoe. Vented on the side to let in air, great for a hot day. Very comfortable and light with socks on. It took a little time to get used to it with out a sock, but it is now comfortable with and without a sock. Good foot support for a light sandal. It also gives your foot plenty of cover while still being airy, making it a good work shoe or play shoe.  Overall great shoe one of my favorite in this collection."

Dr Scholl's makes some of the most comfortable shoes around and are always among the brands my husband first seeks out at any shoe store. They have super soft cushiony soles and you can count on them to be winners. Two new sandal styles worth noting: the Miami and Santa Clara.

Supracor St Tropez flip flop sandals are really unique. They stimulate blood flow to enhance circulation and reduce fatigue. They look like tiny little honeycombs - that stuff absorbs lots of shock, which ads to the comfort of wearing them. They're also naturally antifungal and antibacterial so no stinky dad feet from these! Another bonus - they have a slip-resistant bottom and perforated top layer which allows air and water to flow through. Really innovative shoes.

Birkenstock's have been around a long time and that's for a reason. These classic comfy shoes are still in demand and easy on the foot. I like how much arch support they offer and they really let your foot breathe, perfect for summer time. There's a lot more to Birkenstocks then you might think. And don't be fooled. Birkenstocks are so much more comfy and long lasting then their generic copycats. A good choice for men's summer shoes are the Soft Footbed Milano. "The straps are surprisingly comfortable and have form-fitting soles that feel good as you walk around."

BSC Samoa Yoga Sandals by Beech Sandals These shoes look really strange and frankly they look like there's no way they'd be comfy, but au contraire. They have 4 toe spreaders that gently separate your tootsies so you stand in balance and properly aligned from toe to hips. Pretty cool.

On the slipper front, the men's Dearfoams DM347 is "very soft and feels great on your foot. The rubber bottom allows outside use, which is good for taking out the trash or getting the paper."
