These great products all focus on new mom's newly sensitive area - her breasts. They now provide nutrition for her little baby and need extra care as they adapt to their new role. (Read part 1 and part 2 of my Best Baby Shower Gifts: Mama skin, bath, boobs and relaxation products for more great gift ideas along these lines!)

Relax those hard working boobs too with the The Happy Company’s Breast Buddies. They smell so incredibly good. You pop them in the microwave for 30 seconds and put on sore breasts. The warmth and the lavender smell combine for ultimate comfort, even if you have to do stuff while you put them in your bra, you'll feel relief. They're reusable too. And if you need a little cooling off before baby comes, you can put the Breast Buddies in the freezer for a different kid of refreshing treat for those of us pregnant in the heat of summer. One size fits all.

Coming on the market this month are the Corn Critter Company's new soothing heat Breastfeeding Buddies corn bags. Perfect for your fun bags turned baby feeders, these are like special boob heating pads made out of muslin and cracked corn covered in designer fabrics. No batteries or cords needed. Just pop in the micro for about a minute and apply. They feel great and they stay toasty for quite some time.

The Shower Hug is a little treat for moms once baby is born. It provides secure and super soft protection in the shower, where the water can hurt instead of relax the tender parts. This is a product invented out of sheer need and genius of a mama who understood the pains and needs of new moms. This would be a great gift paired with one of the relaxing shower gels mentioned in this series!

Lansinoh lanolin is a simple must have for all new mommys. You can use it before baby's born on sensitive nipples and once baby comes this stuff will really help soothe those raw spots. Put on before shower to protect them from water for sensitive nipples too.
