Win this new DVD from Disney

Here's a fun stocking stuffer idea for Muppets fans - and you can win it for free! The folks at Disney (via this column) are giving away one copy of 'A Muppets Christmas: Letters to Santa' DVD and a special edition Muppets magnet set (see photos below of the magnets).

You have until November 24, 2009 at 10am ET to enter to win.  Here's how:

  • All you have to do is leave a comment below with your name and favorite Muppets character.
  • Then check back here the week of Thanksgiving to see if you've won.
  • Everyone who enters will have their name put in a hat and one winner will be drawn.
  • The winner's name will be announced at the bottom of this story by 10am ET on 11/25/09 and the winner will have until November 30 to email me his/her name and address so the folks at Disney can send you your prize.
  • If the winner does not email me by the above time/date, a new winner will be chosen.
  • The DVD and magnets can only be mailed to the US and Canada.
  • The DVD and magnet prize will be sent to the winner by Disney directly. I have no control over when it will arrive.

Side note: The Muppets Christmas DVD does not normally come with these special magnets at the store. If you don't win but want a set of the Muppets magnets, beginning this week and running through January 3, 2010, you can pick up limited edition magnet sets attached to select Muppet DVDs.

On The Muppet Movie, you will find an exclusive Kermit magnet set, featuring his director’s outfit. The Great Muppet Caper will feature a Fozzie Bear, including his pizza guy disguise. Attached the A Muppet Christmas Carol you will find Gonzo’s set featuring his Charles Dickens costume.

Each magnet set allows you to dress Kermit, Fozzie, Gonzo and the Whatnots in fun outfits – even real costumes from classic Muppet movies.

Here's a clip from the movie:
