Foogo Phases cups from Thermos

If you've seen the new movie Motherhood starring Uma Thurman (or the trailers for it), you may have noticed the cool looking kids cups she has. They're the new Foogo Phases from Thermos.

The new line of products build upon each other as your child grows, hence their name Foogo Phases. They start at a soft spout sippy phase for babies 6 months and up, then onto a hard spout phase for one year and up teethers who like to chew, and finally to the toddler straw cup. All the phases have interchangeable lids so the cup part never goes to waste and you get your full money's worth. (And you'll soon be able to buy just the lids to move to the next phase at thermos.com)

The cup is available in stainless steel TherMax with double insulation or clear BPA-free,  impact-resistant Eastman Tritan copolyester.

We have a hard spout sippy with steel body and a straw cup with clear body. Both are the current favorite drink cups in our house for my 3.5 and 2 year olds. The straw cup is an improved version of the previous straw Foogos as the button push pop up lid is easier for kids to open and shut themself, key feature for toddlers. If your toddlers are still into munching on straws however, the straw can take a beating quickly, so instead I'd opt for the hard spout sippy. That one has 3 parts to the lid. They are easy to take apart and clean and put back together. Which makes it one of my favorites too. I'd also recommend opting for the TherMax cups instead of the clear ones as they keep drinks cold and fresh much longer.

Here's the trailer from the Motherhood movie. It came out in limited release today and will go into wide release across the country in the coming weeks.
