The Bella Clutching toy is part of HABA's voluntary recall.

The popular German toy maker HABA is recalling over a dozen different products today.

No injuries have been reported but they are working with the Consumer Product Safety Commission because of potential problems.

The recall involves "a select group of HABA items containing glued on mirrors and/or prisms," according to a statement on their website.

The recall is in two parts -  the first is in conjunction with the CPSC.

The items involved in this recall are:

0972 Lucy Clutching Toy ´
0973 Little Heart Clutching Toy
0920 Clutching Toy Belinda
2268 Triolino Puzzle
0951 Miro
1037 Bunny Pacifier Chain
1048 Pacifier Chain Bear

The second part of the recall involves toys HABA feels are similar to the recalled toys so is being proactive recalling them as well. They say on their website, "To date, there have been no injuries, incidents or product failures associated with these toys. The decision is made out of an abundance of caution and concern for the safety of our consumer's children."

Those recalled products are:

0917 Speedy Clutching Toy
0971 Bella Clutching Toy
0919 Clutching Toy Pixie's World
0924 Clutching Toy Pirate
0974 Bonita Clutching Toy

The items were sold at specialty toy stores nationwide and at specialty online retailers from January 2002 through August 2008 for between $10 and $35. They were manufactured in Germany.

What should you do if you have one of these HABA products?
Consumers should immediately take the recalled puzzles, rattles, pacifier holders and stroller toys away from children and contact HABA through its online recall form or a toll-free number to receive a free replacement product or a full refund. For additional information, contact Habermaass Corp. at (800) 468-6873 ext. 107 between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. ET Monday through Friday, or visit the firm’s Web site at http://www.HABAusa.com/safety.
