Whether by plane, by train or by car, a good way to get a good trip is having comfy kids that are well rested. To do that, you're going to want to check out these not-your-ordinary travel pillows.

3 in 1 Travel Pillows by Zoobies ($32, littlejetset.com)

A fight broke out at my house the day our Taj the Tiger Zoobie pillow arrived. Both my girls squeled in delight upon seeing this guy come out of the box. He's cute and super soft and really practical.

Taj (and the five other animals by Zoobie) are a toy, a pillow and a blanket. You unhook the straps to turn him from a toy into a a pillow. Then to turn into a blanket with a lovie, you just unzip the blanket that stores in the animal's tummy.

Noodlehead Travel Buddies Neck Pillow ($15, amazon.com)

Available in 18 different animals from puppies to alligators and some more unique animals too like skunks and seals.

These are comfy and the perfect size for toddlers. We have the alligator and Ava loves just playing with it as well as snuggling with it in the car.

Travelrest Travel Pillow ($26.95, travelrest.net)

This is a uniquely shaped, inflatable travel pillow. It's good for kids and adults. The Travelrest pillow deflates really quickly and easily too, unlike most other inflatable pillows I've tried. My husband used this one while taping naps on our road trip to Disneyland last month. He gave it two thumbs up and fell asleep in a matter of minutes.

To use, you inflate, hook the cord around the seatback, and snooze. Because of the cord, I'd recommend this for older children and adults only. The Travelrest pillow comes in red, grey and blue.
