Ava met WALL-E at Disneyland in October

WALL-E is the newest movie from Disney and Pixar. This kids movie is very unique and inventive... plus fun and sweet with good messages to kids about the need to reduce, reuse and recycle without being boring or annoying. We've had WALL-E in my house two days and have already watched it three times.

WALL-E is the story of a lovable and lonely robot who's been left on Earth to clean up the mess of humans. The movie begins when he meets EVE, a robot sent to Earth to see if it's livable yet, hundreds of years after people have left. Many social commentaries are just beneath the surface of this movie. Kids won't get many of them, but the movie can easily serve as a conversation starter for parents to talk about recycling, waste and even why we need exercise.

Here's a trailer for WALL-E, so you can check it out before putting it on your Netflix, though I'd recommend buying it because your kids are going to want to watch it again and again. (And you will too.)
