Holiday Gift Guide 2008: Gifts for little music lovers

Little music lovers can have the best day just singing and dancing around the house. But these ideas for gifts will surely increase the joy this holiday season...

Yo Gabba Gabba! Has several products for little music lovers. All of these are made for ages two and up and are especially great for fans of the TV show.

  • Dance Time Brobee will bring smiles to faces who have never heard of the TV show and for those who have. He’s cute in his fuzzy green stripes and long arms and looks extra silly when he dances, inspiring extra laughs.
  • Gab ‘n Sing TooDee is a fluffy monster-esque plush toy. She’s soft and cute and sings and talks.
  • Also check out the Yo Gabba Gabba Muno’s Groovin’ Guitar for music lovers who fancy themselves as little musicians. It has lots of buttons to press too.

LeapFrog's Learn & Groove Musical Table has been enjoyed by both of my daughters for quite some time now. Made for kdis six months and up, it really is a great toy that can grow with kids. I think it's best for ages nine months and up when they can scoot around the table standing. My 2.5 year old still loves this table.

iHome 2 Go Portable Speaker System and Alarm Clock.
While not a toy for children, this will be a delight for the rooms of music lovers. It works with all types of iPods (and has a spot to use other MP3 players as well) and has great sound quality and is nice looking without being bulky. It comes with a pouch so you can throw it in the stroller and take it on a picnic or to the park too.

New fun and unique kids CDs:

I'm putting together over two dozen gift guides to help you find the perfect gifts this holiday season. I'm breaking down the categories to suit children's personalities from bug lovers to little scientists, artists and more. I'll also have gift guides for new parents, moms, dad, and grandparents. You can see all of those HERE all season long. Be sure to check back as there's lots more to come.
