Beer and WiFi in Chicago - Part 3
WiFi and beer in Chicago III
OK. I’m certain there is market research that shows an increase in food and liquor sales associated with the availability of
free WiFi at brewpubs. I won’t bore you with the numbers. You’re smart; you get it.
A fan of Rock Bottom -- especially Pete at Chicago’s Grand and State location -- I thought I couldn’t miss. I drove to Lombard for a treat.
The Scotch Ale was delicious.
But when I opened my computer and tried to log on to the internet, my plans were quashed.
Nothing. Nada. Bupkis. They were also gracious enough not to charge me for my inconvenience.
There is no free WiFi available at Rock Bottom’s Lombard location.
So I left and went to
Lunar Brewing in Villa Park and spent my money there. Delicious ales galore, I enjoyed while catching up on my work.
Yay, beer. Boo, no internet access.
