John Krasinski (a.k.a. Jim from The Office) is coming to town. The first-time director will be in Cambridge at the Kendall Square Cinema for the screening of Brief Interviews with Hideous Men. Based on the book by David Foster Wallace, the film (an official Sundance selection) looks at the “darkly funny and disturbing exploration of men and their complex relationships with women.” A grad student who is doing her thesis on the male psyche interviews several men and, as she hears their messed up tales, can’t help but compare their stories to her own experiences w/the Y chromosome. Cast includes some of my favs, Will Arnet (Arrested Development), Will Forte (SNL), AND blast from the past, Josh Charles (Don’t Tell Mom the Babysitter’s Dead—apologies for non-English clip).





Screenings w/JK are at 7p.m. and 9:45p.m. Fri 11/ 6 and Sat 11/7
