Bears: Well, so much for the flyer on Devin Hester. Some work out. Others don't. I wouldn't drop Hester just yet after his one-catch opener, but that time will come soon ...
The big news in the win over Indianapolis was the play of the Chicago defense. If the unit is back to its 2006 prowess - or even close - the Bears are going to be able to play conservatively on offense. They ran the ball 39 times against the Colts, with Matt Forte getting a total of 26 touches. At that rate, you've got to start him.
Colts: We learned a little something about the Colts that we can take forward. On a night when Peyton Manning threw 49 passes, we got a good look at his distribution. Reggie Wayne caught 10, which we might have expected. Marvin Harrison caught eight, which was nice to see. And Dallas Clark caught just one. Conclusion: A healthy Harrison is a fantasy starter, and that's not good news for those expecting stardom from Clark. You've still got to start him, but you're advised to temper your enthusiasm.
