Bengals: Here's the good news if you didn't act quickly enough to get Chris Perry last week: He certainly didn't distinguish himself in the opener, so maybe he's available again. If a Bengals running back is going to get 19 touches, I want him on my team ...
If there's anything to be learned from the opening loss at Baltimore it's that the Bengals just aren't ready to play meaningful football. They had several key injuries during the preseason, and now it's going to take time to play themselves into shape. By the time Chris Henry returns from suspension in Week 5 to aid the cause, it should be full speed ahead for Carson Palmer, Chad Johnson and T.J. Houshmandzadeh. Don't give up on them yet.
Ravens: A rookie quarterback runs for a long touchdown and a double-reserve results in another score. Does that sound like much of an offense to you? Not me, either. It's sell time on Todd Heap ...
The Ravens ran 46 times in the opener even though Willis McGahee didn't play. Give him even half those attempts when healthy and he should easily be the team's best fantasy performer. Only legitimate fantasy performer, I should add. Given the fact this team has no quarterback, McGahee is going to run until he drops.
