Buy low, sell high. It the secret to success in fantasy football.
If you got DeSean Jackson late in your draft, or subsequently off the waiver wire, you've accomplished the first half of the equation. Congratulations. Hopefully you've milked his early success for all it's worth.
Now's the time to sell.
Why? Because you can.
In the Eagles' grand scheme of things, Jackson is supposed to be a third receiver to Reggie Brown and Kevin Curtis. That hasn't occurred yet because the two starters have been hurt.
But Brown is back now and Curtis is on his way, so Jackson soon will be a part-timer on a team that also has a great pass-catching back. His opportunities are going to be far more limited in the very near future.
If your trade partner doesn't understand that, great. Take advantage.
Just make sure you say thank you when you receive a very good player -- one with far greater long-term potential -- in return.
