As the Steelers' competition gets tougher -- nobody has had an easier time so far (Texans and Browns) -- they're going to have to throw the ball more. That's even better news for the owners of Hines Ward, who has regained his must-start status with two great games. There's even room for Santonio Holmes to shine in games such as this week's showdown with the Eagles.
Browns: The Browns have yet to get on track, which you might expect being that the Cowboys and Steelers have been the competition so far. And it doesn't figure to improve much this week at Baltimore. So here's the plan: Another bad game by Braylon Edwards could put him on the trade market next week. Be prepared to make an offer ...
There'll be easier spots for the Browns, and they remain a better-than-most offensive team, so don't panic and cut or trade Jamal Lewis. Just sit him until things turn around.
