Pick up Cadillac Williams.
I've talked before about how often times drafting a "team" is more important than an individual when it comes to running backs. Year after year, we've seen Mike Shanahan turn nobodies into fantasy stars in Denver, and now guys named Mewelde and BenJarvus have become fantasy factors in Pittsburgh and New England.
Today, let's turn our attention to Tampa Bay, where a newcomer might be primed to make a nice stretch run.
Cadillac Williams' return to practice has coincided with injuries suffered by Tampa's top two backs - Earnest Graham and Warrick Dunn. Williams isn't quite ready to play his best ball yet, and that's OK because Graham and Dunn are still blocking his path.
But both front-liners are one big hit or misstep from some serious time off, at which point Williams just might step right into a great situation.
And have you seen Tampa's remaining schedule? After hosting Minnesota this week, it's at Detroit, New Orleans, at Carolina, at Atlanta, San Diego and Oakland. Good weather everywhere, and a bunch of really bad run defenses.
It's a bit of a longshot, but I think giving Williams a roster spot right now could pay off big-time down the stretch.
